Getting ready for Fall

The summer season is over, and now we will begin getting ready for the Fall - a very special season for us.  Three of our premier events are held during the Fall: the NorCal Futures Camp, the National Elite Futures Camp, and the Phoenix Jamboree.  Certainly, the NorCal event and the Phoenix Jamboree are growing each and every year.  And the National Elite Futures Camp is without question the Crown Jewel of all recruiting events in the country.  Nearly 100 Division 1 college coaches flock to Mt. San Antonio College to watch 75 of the best young players in the country workout and compete over the course of two days.  One NCAA National Championship coach, who cannot be named due to NCAA rules regarding the endorsement of events, calls the National Elite Futures Camp “the two most important recruiting days of the year – bar none.”  And another National Championship coach says that she “gets more done in two days of an OnDeck event than in two weeks of regular recruiting.”  Needless to say, we get excited . . . we get nervous . . . we get anxious about these next three months of the year!  This week, we will begin putting together our list of invitees for each of those events, and we feel like we have an outstanding pool of players from which to choose.  If you are interested in attending any of these, we will need to get the evaluation process started immediately.  We always save a handful of spots for those who get on our radar late, so don’t hesitate to contact us if you are indeed interested.

Also, we are excited to begin Phase 3 of our business this Fall.  We will be expanding in several ways, and we will be anxious to share those ideas with you.  Look for more information on ONDECK LIVE, new PROSPECT CAMPS, and the ODM (OnDeck Measurement) in the weeks to come.  It should be an exciting and innovative Fall season for all of us.  We are particularly excited about the ODM, which when combined with our OnDeck Ratings will make it even easier for the college coach and you all to connect.  The ODM will first be incorporated during our NorCal Futures Camp in September.  It will be an exciting addition to our evaluation process.
