NCAA Extends Dead Period Through July 31st

Today the NCAA announced that the DI recruiting dead period would be extended through July 31st. While coaches can watch live streamed games and workouts, this still has an impact on our summer Jamborees.

What is OnDeck doing this summer? We are rolling out a series of report camps held in-conjunction with tournaments. Coaches might not be out recruiting this summer, but we will be. These camps are designed for players to get a workout, ODM Numbers, star rating and be included in the report sent to all college coaches. Open to any player in the 2021-2025 class, this will give more players an opportunity to attend an OnDeck event. View the schedule.

What about the summer Jamborees? We are postponing our 2020 summer Jamborees to summer 2021. Players that are currently registered for 2020 Jamborees will automatically be registered for that Jamboree in 2021. If you are registered, another email will be sent tomorrow with more details.

What about August 1st recruiting? While there is the potential DI coaches can start recruiting on August 1st, it is not something we can count on. If August becomes a permissible recruiting time, we will hold a couple Jamborees.

We know this summer is going to look a lot different. You all have been working so hard and it will pay off. We look forward to seeing you again or meeting you for the first time. See you at the ball park soon!

Take care.
