We were excited to get back to Chicago for a tryout this time in April. We want to thank Ben Robles for all his help with this tryout. He is always fun to have around, and hits good fungo. We also want to thank Nataile for throwing BP.

This tryout was full of solid players from the 2026 to 2030 classes. We had a group of younger players that just need another year to grow and devleop their games and we can't wait to see them next year.

It is important to remember that in all tryouts we are looking for skill sets and athleticism. We do it this way to make sure an athlete can hold her own in the Jamboree or National Camp setting. If the skill sets of the player can hold up under the rigor of an OnDeck workout, and the prospect is athletic enough to match the athleticism of the other players, then we are good to go. It is our feeling that attending coaches will find that athlete intriguing enough to follow and evaluate on their own.

We want to thank all the players and parents who joined us for this tryout. Please keep us updated on your tournament and game schedules and email them to info@ondecksoftball.net

Listed below are the players selected and the invitations they are guaranteed. It is important to know that players were considered for all Jamborees. If you were not selected, keep working on your skill set and athleticism. Do not be discouraged. We want to do what is best for you and help you be successful on the softball field.

The Colorado Jamboree and Chicago Jambore invitations have been sent. All invitations are sent via email to the address provided in registration, unless otherwise requested. Please add info@ondecksoftball.net to your contacts to ensure you get the invitation.

Please remember that the ODM numbers, while growing increasingly important, are only a snapshot of a player’s evaluation and potential. They are also just a portion of the Tryout selection process, for more information read Your Tryout & ODM Numbers. Use these numbers as a tool and work at developing your athleticism, but constantly work on improving and refining your softball skill set – both offensively and defensively.

These numbers have also been posted to your profile. An Allister Index is not given with Tryout ODM numbers. If you have questions about your ODM Numbers, email kj@odmtesting.com
